Earth Share of Texas at H-E-B Campaign supports Austin Parks Foundation projects

Your purchase of $1, $3 and $5 tear pad coupons helps fund park improvement projects through the Austin Parks Foundation. On April 22, 2008, Earth Day over 95 volunteers from local Starbucks stores laid out 500 square feet of flagstone along a trail, cut and removed hundreds of invasive trees and spread coffee grounds and mulch in the main play area of Red Bud Isle, a popular off-leash dog area in central Austin. Thank you for your support.

Earth Share of Texas Tear Pad Program at H-E-B supports San Marcos River Foundation

H-E-B customers help the San Marcos River Foundation care for the San Marcos River in many ways. One is providing supplies and supervision of volunteers every 4th Saturday, year round, to remove exotic invasive plants. Volunteers enjoy the time on the water, and learn about the other ways they can keep all Texas rivers clean and flowing by supporting the San Marcos River Foundation.

Earth Share of Texas Tear Pad Program at H-E-B supports Hill Country Conservancy Projects

In early February, Hill Country Conservancy volunteers joined together with TreeFolks and Texas State University
Wildlife Society members to plant native trees at Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve in West Austin. Nalle Bunny Run's 37 acres of habitat on Lake Austin were donated to Hill Country Conservancy in 2001 by the Nalle family, in remembrance of Anne Byrd "Bunny" Nalle, an avid lover of nature and theHill Country. Since then, Hill Country Conservancy has managed the preserve for the benefit of wildlife habitat and water quality improvement.
